The History of Laurel Health Care Company
Laurel Health Care Company was founded in 1992 by Thomas Franke and Dennis Sherman as a privately held company. From its first facility in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Laurel has grown to 33 nursing facilities and 6 assisted living facilities or independent living apartments, spanning five states.
Along the way, Laurel has hired and developed a very skilled management team with significant experience in the healthcare industry. Through its careful growth, Laurel has achieved significant financial stability and is well prepared to continue exceeding the expectations of its guests well into the future.
